This is an absolutely gorgeous archaeocete whale premolar with fantastic enamel colors. The enamel on this specimen is incredibly well preserved with every little crenulation intact and crisp. Tiny amount of wear to the highest crown, otherwise the enamel is flawless. One root is virtually fully intact, and the other is maybe 20% intact. For Florida-found archaeocete whale teeth, and really archaeocete whale teeth from around the world, this specimen is fantastic. The enamel colors on this specimen are truly captivating with three main colors: there is a background pale baby-blue color with tiger stripes of pale mustard yellow; then there is a striking, vibrant burnt orange splash of color across one side. This is absolutely a top shelf, collector grade specimen.
