This is an absolutely massive and very impressive nearly fully rooted mastodon tooth. This specimen is in incredible condition and shows a high crown with minimal wear. At least 60% of the root system is intact which is rarely seen. Really fantastic and very attractive tooth. It has been coated in a preservative so it will be safe to handle and remain stable for many years to come. Mastodon teeth of this size and quality are very difficult to find.
