This is a beyond rare American lion upper premolar still in a section of maxilla (upper jaw - skull). The tooth tooth features gorgeous yellow enamel coloration with glossy patina. Monster sized tooth, it measures 1.15" long. We could write a book about how rare this specimen is - in 20 years we've only handled EIGHT Florida American lion teeth. Fantastic specimen from an incredibly rare species. World class specimen. This specimen is from our private collection and we will gladly put it back in the drawer if it doesn't sell.
