This is a beyond rare giant ground sloth medial phalanx (toe bone). This is the bone that would've been located directly behind the claw core. This specimen is in perfect condition with no damage or erosion anywhere. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized, it weighs 10.5oz. Truly remarkable specimen from a very rare species.
