This is an incredibly rare section of saber cat upper canine from the most well known ice age site in the world - the La Brea Tarpits. This is a section of enamel with an attractive crazed patina. In cross section you can see how thin the enamel is. Awesome specimen with incredible provinance from the most highly sought after ice age species - the "King of the Ice Age", Smilodon fatalis.
