This is a beyond rare section of saber cat (Smilodon) upper canine (saber). This is a section of the tooth where the enamel meets the root. The enamel is ultra-glossy and features beautiful mottled enamel coloration. This is one of only a small handful of sections of saber cat upper canine that we have ever offered for sale. Great representation of the most desirable tooth from the most desirable species from the last ice age. This specimen has been in our private collection for many years.
