This is a massive and very impressive section of mammoth tusk. This specimen weighs 5lb 6.6oz. It boasts a very attractive multicolor patina. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter - this specimen was from a very large individual! This specimen is unique in that one side has many bore holes from a type of boring worm - it adds a lot of character and texture to the piece. Awesome specimen all around that makes an impressive display.
