This is a large and impressive section of mastodon tusk. This specimen is solid and heavy - it weighs 1lb 15.1oz. Well preserved and very detailed specimen that shows well the schreger lines and growth lines. A portion of the rarely seen enamel bark is still intact. Great example that displays well.
