This is a simply massive and very impressive mastodon pelvis. This specimen weighs an impressive 11lb 8.8oz. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized. It has a beautiful mottled patina that the pictures do no justice. Very well preserved with crisp features. Very impressive specimen; bones of this size and quality are rare to find.
