This is an incredibly massive section of gomphothere tusk. This specimen measures an impressive 16lb 9.0oz. It is extremely well preserved and shows a beautiful and classic enamel band with stunning GREEN coloration. Beautiful glossy patina over the entire specimen. This specimen is totally fully round. Both ends show great growth rings and schreger lines. The weight of this specimen is very impressive, it is so heavily mineralized it is literally rock-like.
