This is an absolutely museum quality saber cat medial phalanx (toe bone) that was found at the world famous La Brea Tarpits!! This specimen is in flawless condition with ultra crisp features all around. It shows well the classic golden tarpits patina. This is the toe bone located directly behind the claw core, the asymmetrical design allowed the claw core to retract. Truly world class specimen - they don't come any finer than this.
