This is a rare and very nice giant tortoise mandible (lower jaw). This specimen is rock solid and very heavily mineralized - it clinks like fine china when tapped. Very detailed specimen with crisp features all around. This is one of only a small handful of giant tortoise jaws that we have ever offered for sale.
