This is an absolutely fantastic and incredibly rare juvenile sloth molariform (tooth). This specimen was from a very young animal and the occlusal (chewing) surface is just beginning to show the first signs of wear. Beautiful glossy patina. Pictures do it no justice; it is much nicer in hand. Fantastic specimen.
