This is an exceptional and very impressive sloth humerus. This specimen has a gorgeous cream colored patina. It was found in a limestone fissure associated with peccary, saber cat, giant beaver, and other extinct species. It is rock solid and very heavily mineralized. From a juvenile individual, so the articulating surfaces had not yet fully ossified. Extremely rare specimen that makes an impressive display.
