This is an absolutely top quality five hump mastodon tooth cap. This specimen was fully unerupted (still below the gum line) so the roots had not yet fully formed and the enamel shows a high crown with zero wear. Chocolate patina is unique and very primitive looking. Because this tooth has no roots it sits up by itself and displays very well. Exceptional tooth for a fantastic price.
