This is an incredibly nice and exceedingly rare giant ground sloth (Eremothere) metapodial (hand bone). This specimen is very well preserved and highly detailed. It is so heavily mineralized that it is literally rock-like. Awesome representation from a very rare species. This is one of only a small handful of post cranial Eremothere fossils that we have ever offered for sale.
