This is a very rare juvenile sperm whale tooth. This is one of only a small handful of juvenile sperm whale teeth that we have ever encountered. The root is fully intact as it was still forming below the gum line. The enamel is 100% intact and is just beginning to show the first signs of wear. Awesome, and very unique specimen.
