This is an absolutely top quality and truly incredible glyptodon scute (osteoderm). This specimen is incredibly well preserved with super crisp features. This specimen is unusually thick - it measures 1.93" thick. Glyptodon scutes of this size and quality are very difficult to find. They truly don't come any finer than this.
