This is hands down the finest mastodon vertebra that we have ever offered for sale. It is truly nothing short of a miracle that this specimen survived in this virtually flawless condition. It is beyond rare to find a proboscidean vertebra with the spinal processes intact like this. It has beautiful beige patina. Absolutely incredible specimen - the best we've seen.
