This is an absolutely incredible sloth digit (finger) that is mounted on a custom display stand. These bones are not all from the same individual sloth, but were carefully matched for both size and color accuracy and are anatomically correct. The stand is made from "dead head" pecky cypress wood, this wood is found while diving in rivers. The claw is exceptional and very impressive, by itself it measures 6 1/8" long. Overall, the full digit measures over 10 1/2" long. The stand is made in such a way that the bones are not glued together and can be removed to be inspected and studied. This specimen makes a top quality and very attractive display. This is a very classy piece.
